Picasso Award!

LuAnn, of Reading Frenzy, was nice enough to share an award with me! It's the Picasso Award and part of winning this award asks that I share 7 things about myself with you. And I hear that these little tidbits are supposed to be 'true'. Too bad because my fake life is so much more interesting! lol.

*I am younger than you expect, but older than you realize.

*When I was 12, David Copperfield asked me for my phone number...as part of a magic trick he was doing when he took me onstage. :-P

*I love judge shows, especially Judge Judy.

*I almost died from appendicitis when I was a child.

*I was a member of a sorority in college.

*I have never lived alone and think I would go crazy if I did. I need people around me.

*I rode out Hurricane Hugo (1989) on a cot mattress in a tiny motel bathtub with a porcelain doll and my mom.

And now to pass this lovely award along to some folks who I think have some dark secrets to share!:

2. Savvy Verse & Wit

What interesting facts! I love David Copperfield and have gone to see him live twice! I'm wondering where you lived when Hurricane Hugo hit - we moved to Charlotte in 1994 (well after the hurricane) and everyone had a Hurricane Hugo story to share with us. I'm also mentally trying to figure out how old you are.

I'm so flattered that you thought of me to pass this along to. You've made my day.

David Copperfield, eh?! Hmm. I'm not sure I have any dark secrets to share, but I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for passing it on to me...I think.

bermudaonion: I love David Copperfield, too! He smelled soooo good. It was great. And I was right in the heart of Charleston, SC for good ole Hugo! Well, in Goose Creek, anyway. I couple of miles inland.

Serena: I'm sure you have super fun tales to share, you wild woman, you! :-)

lol! a vixen at age 12!?! i'll drop an unsolicited tidbit about me because this painting has a place in my childhood:

my parents bough a print of the picasso image used in this award (hand with flowers) and my 10-year-old art critic self thought it was horrible--the top hand was so out of proportion. shows what i knew, right? :)
