Wordless Wednesday: Elvis is alive and well, folks...

and hanging out at BEA!

He was promoting a Where's Waldo type book called Where's Elvis? And I have to say, if you're up for a challenge, pick this book up because I could not find Elvis. Apart from the one standing next to me, of course! ;-)

I remember seeing him...but it was in a blur I was dashing off to try to get to a signing before it was over. Never did make my way back to meet the king.

Aww I'm so sad we didn't run into each other :/

Not every day you run into The King. Looks like fun!

Hey, it's great to see what you look like! What a fun picture. :)

It's nice to finally "see" you! You're so cute! We used to have some of the Where's Waldo books. They drove me nuts, but the kids loved 'em. :)

Irish: I stopped to look at the book and he was having so much fun with everyone! I almost wandered on by to avoid a potential annoyance, but am really glad I stopped. He and I looked for that Elvis in the book forever!

Alea: I am too! I keep wondering if I made eye contact or looked at a book next to you!

TexasRed: It was fun! He was super nice. And I have a feeling he can also double as Neil Diamond...anyone else think that?

Heather J.: Thanks! I couldn't figure on when the next time was that I would meet a fringed, furry, beaded man, so a pic was so necessary. ;-)

Bookfool: The great unveiling of me, right? lol. I thought that shirt was cute, but feel like it looks frumpy in the pic. Harumph! I like 'seek and find' books. I always love a challenge!

Haha, I know, it's very possible!

This is exactly the way I pictured you would look! (Okay, minus Elvis.)

Wow! Who'da thought you'd run into the King himself at BEA :)

Where's Waldo style books are so terrific, I thought they were really good for my kids because while searching they made up stories for all the little details. A Where's Elvis book should be cute!

Elizabeth: lol. The funny thing is that I'm a genuine Lisa Marie! So maybe Elvis has always been somewhere in my periphery...

Joanne: The book was pretty cute! Challenging, though!

I thought I saw Elvis at my Grocery store...but it was Halloween and that's months away.
